Winter is a great time for Moxibustion. Moxibustion is using the burning herb Mugwort in various forms (as you can see from the photo) to warm acupoints on the body. Mugwort is a warming
herb that introduces heat and stimulation to the body. It is great
for treating fatigue, digestive complaints, chills and pain.
Moxibustion is not recommended for people with signs of internal
heat and should be used carefully during menopause.
Did you know that warming a pregnant woman's pinky toe with
moxa can help turn a breech baby? It's true.
